Nebamun was the accountant in charge of grain at the great temple of Amun at Karnak. This scene from his tom-chapel shows officuals inspecting fields. A farmer cheeks the boundary marker of the fields. Nearby two champots for the party to officuals wait under the shade of a syco more-big trees. The old farmer is shown balding ,badly shaven,for poorly dressed and with a protrol uding nave.

The chiel of the measures of the granary (mostly lots)holds a rope decorated with the heads of Amun's scared ram for measuring the gods fields.After Nebamun died ,the rope's head was in Tutankhamun's reign. some one clumsily restured it with mud-plaster and redrew it.

pulling a carriage with a girl inside it and hirogliphics.Today we use walking sticks,leather sattel,leather leashs and horses.I think
they painted it because to make it easier to understand what they
were and what colour they were.The colours are black,brown,white and silver.

On the left of the picture I can see an elderly man with a walking stick and hieroglyphics in the background. On the right there are chariots, charioteers and horses moving towards a tree. In ancient times chariots were used in militaries for transport or mobile archery platforms, for hunting or for racing and as a means of travel for ancient people.

I think this picture was painted to depict transport in ancient times.

In this picture i see a person holding a big peice of string. I see 2 big horses. I can see a person blowing a dandilain i see a big stone that has litle spots on it. In this picture i think they are trying to recreate the stone age. We still use horses and they did as well. We have stones and they had stones. We have weels and they have weels. I think this picture was maded for peoapal to see how the stone age was like

DeleteI see an old bold man in the first picture who is holding a stick in one hand and the other is in front of his face standing in front of a white oval stone praying, behind him is hieroglyphics describing the place. In the next picture a man is holding a black horse with a chariot, waiting for his master. The last picture is of a young girl who is riding on a chariot which is drawn by two white horses. I see a large tree on the right hand side of the picture. We still use horses and writing instead of hieroglyphics. The picture shows the describes of the life of a person that had died. Arya.
ReplyDeleteI can see: one black horse, one white horse, I think two men and may be a young girl sitting in a carriage. It was painted to show how they would travel / move. The thing that is happening is they are travelling. We still use a walking stick. They were painted to show all about their life and how they travel. They put hieroglyphics on it just like we would sometimes draw a picture about us / or our surroundings, and write underneath our picture. I also think that they drew some leaves/ trees on the side, as we quite often draw backgrounds.

I can see 1 black horse with a person carrying something in the horse`s back I see 2 white horse`s and it look`s like the horse`s are carrying someone in the horse`s back and ti looks like the horse`s are exorcised and the people is being rude to the horse`s.The horse thing that they put when they want to ride a horse.I don`t think the picture is not painted because if you paint it it will look all messy and it wont look nise.

I think they are riding the horses to hunt fish and collect wheat
so they can make bread and maybe they are collecting water to
survive in the heat.
The things that are used to day are horses to get around carriages

In the picture I can see a black horse next to it are two white horses next to the horses is a girl what has a metal stick. I think in the picture the girl is diking a hol with the stick. Two mens are riding on the horses. One horse is doing hols the other one is potting seeds in the hols. We still have horses in are days and plow for horse. I think that the old man is is spiting in front of hieroglyphics and praying.I think the man which is holding the black horse is trying to tame it and the man at the bottom is being carried in a carriage. Today we use walking sticks, leashes and horses.I think that this picture was painted to show the life of Egyptians life and how they live a long time ago.

In this picture I can see four ancient figures. In these four pictures one of them says something in hieroglyphs (Ancient Egyptian handwriting).The master piece also shows three more figures including humans, one of them is taking two black and brown horses and a chariot which is going to the right. There are the same horses which are white but in this figure the chariot is going left and the two white horses are going right. In this figure the left top corner is crushed and damaged. I think this picture is an Ancient Egyptian picture because there is Hieroglyphs. I think on the second chariot there is a pharaoh with two white horses. There seem to be a man drinking some water from the Nile.
ReplyDeleteToday we still use horses to travel and chariots to ride on. I think this picture was painted to show how life was at that period of time, like a time capsule. Also to store memorable moments and they decorate their walls with bright colours.
A lot about what we know about the ancient Egyptian come from their art. They made paintings, sculptures, wall art and more species of art. Much of their art work is to do with their religion. They would fill the pharaoh’s tomb with variety of arts. They are also very famous at huge sculptures like the sphinx.

There are 3 pictures in the message. The first one is showing that a man, bending down, holding a stick. The Second one is showing a man, pulling the horse with a horse stick. The third one is showing the horse pulling the man, who is sitting on the cart. I think the man is judging which one is the best. I definitely think that we still use horse and sticks. Well, also horse carts but in villages. Also they are used in fun and entertainment. They painted because in Iron Age, some cannot communicate to each other so they painted in a cave. From Soham

On the painting of the stone I can see some people doing work.The left side is the one who is make some symbols.I can also see that he is holding a large stick in his hands.I can see 2 mans and 1 and other has 3 horses.And they are getting ready for the pharaoh things.
There are few things witch are still used today such as horse cutting.I can also see some people ridding horses still today.But know we don't use stones to do painting.
I think the picture was painted because it is very old paint and tell us or give and idea to the present people about the old Ancient way of doing things.

People still use horses to ride on them or for wedding.
Maybe it's used to tell a important story .
I can see a egyption painting. The paainting shows three men,three horses and two chariots.Ican see hirogliphics in the background.This is the egyption writing.There also are trees in the background of the painting.

In the picture I can see three people and three horses. I can also can see a tree which looks like it’s waving in the light breeze that has been boiled by the sun. It`s like one of the men is writing hieroglyphics on a wall. Also it looks like one of the men with a white horse is resting on the cart while his two horses are having a rest from eating some grass.

ReplyDeleteThis picture from the British museum shows the Egyptian transport, language and everyday work. In the picture there are three Egyptian slaves, two chariots, hieroglyphs and horses. One slave is riding a chariot, maybe to test it for the pharaoh and one is using a plough cart to plough the fields in his farm. The other slave is praying to the Egyptian god, Ra in a temple. Some of the things in the picture are still used today like the plough cart, temples and horses. I think they were painted by a Egyptian scribe a long time ago for the new generation to learn about their culture.

I can see some Egyptian writing and a chariot with horses pulling it. I can also see animals, trees and people (I expect the people are gladiators). I think the top bit of the picture is showing a fight. I think the bottom bit shows an emperor being pulled along in a cart which is pulled by horses. I think the bit on the left hand side shows someone herding animals, I think this as the person in the picture is holding a stick and there are animal shadows. The things we still use today are horses and carriages even though we don’t use them as much. Also shepherds still have their jobs and we use animals. I think the picture was made so people who live in the future could find evidence of how the Egyptians lived. I think the picture was painted so that archaeologists could find the picture amongst the soil because of its bright colours. I also think the picture was painted so it could tell a story and so that it looked nice.

I can see three men 2 chariots 4 horses one tree and hieroglyphics. Hieroglyphics were the ancient Egypt language which they used. One man is begging for money and he looks very old. Two men are riding chariots with two horses each. One person is riding fast horses and another person has two slow horses. I think that the old man is begging people money and he is cleaning and sweeping a grave yard. The two men are travelling in the chariots so the can travel somewhere far or a bit near or they might be carrying food. They also might be carrying a emperor in the chariot. We still use horses grave yards walking sticks clothes and we have trees. So modern day people can find out how it was like in the Egyptian period. KAVIN
ReplyDeleteI can see three different pictures painted on a wall.They present Egyptian lives.I think one of the pictures show riding a horse,which contains a carriage.The next two pictures show a farming life, particularly a man who is sowing seeds and horses what are plowing the field.
ReplyDeleteWe still use carriages ,however not for farming but occasionally to have fun.
In my opinion ,nowadays we don't need to use a wall as a method to provide a notebook.In the past the pictures like these also worked as a calendar.What is more,I think they were trying to send a message about how to do the things that they did.

ReplyDeleteIn the painting, I can see two white horses and 3 men. Two of the men are riding carriages and one of them is holding a stick. In the picture I think that they might me going somewhere because they are riding a carriage.Also,they could in a battlefield because the older man is holding a stick which could have been used as a weapon. The stick could be still used today because some elderly people who can't walk properly would use them. We still use and ride horses today as well.I think this painting was made because they wanted us to see how they did things in the Egyptian times.

On that piece of stone, I can see a man coughing with a type of sword in his left hand standing in front of his house. Also above him are some hieroglyphics. On the up right there is another man pulling the reins so that the black horse can gallope. Under him is a little boy in a carage and two beautiful white horses are carrying him to another place. I think they are working as slave!
